See first-hand how skis are made!

Austria has a long history of ski manufacturing and is home to several of the biggest ski producers: Fischer, Atomic and Salomon. On this unique trip, you will have the opportunity to tour the factories and learn how skis are produced. Of course, a Lumi trip would not be complete without some skiing. Spend two days skiing on the Dachstein Glacier high above Ramsau and get out hiking in the surrounding hills. The adventure continues in Slovenia, home of the Planica ski flying hill and host of the 2023 World Championships. This stunning corner of the Alps is nestled next to Italy and Austria and is quickly becoming a popular ski destination. Cruise through the ski tunnel for a day or two of on-snow skiing and explore the surrounding Julian Alps. Stop by Lake Bled for a visit to the famous mountain lake, en route to the end of the trip in Ljubljana.

This trip isn’t just for skiers, though. Even non-skiers will enjoy the hiking, scenery, treats and people you meet along the way.
