Cheer on your favorite athletes at the 2027 FIS World Championships in Falun, Sweden. Enjoy the exciting atmosphere of the legendary Lugnet Arena and watch racers ski up the steep Mördarbacken climb. Explore Sweden’s expansive trail networks at your own pace from your centrally-located lodging in Mora, located just a few blocks from the finish line of the Vasaloppet.

2027 FALUN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS trip

Cheer on racers at the 2027 World Championships in Falun, Sweden!

Spend eight days exploring the Dalarna region as you ski your way across Sweden’s vast forested landscapes. Between days spent skiing on hundreds of kilometers of trails surrounding your home base in Mora, you’ll travel to Falun to root on your favorite athletes as they compete in the 2027 FIS World Championships across two separate trips. This thrilling event leads into the Vasaloppet’s Winter Week, with the opportunity to participate in the legendary 90km classic event at the end of the second week. Entry into this perennially sold-out event is guaranteed!

Away from the ski trails and races, relax in your hotel’s spa and wellness center in the heart of Mora, just a few blocks away from the finish of the Vasaloppet. Enjoy an afternoon dog sledding with your group (Week 1 only), as well as a tour of the historic Falun Copper Mine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and source of copper across Europe for over 1000 years. Share a meal with your group at your hotel and explore the best that Falun has to offer.
