Ideal for early-season skiing!

One of North America’s premier cross country ski destinations, SilverStar and Sovereign Lake areas combine to offer over over 100 km of stunning ski trails. Relatively high elevation around a mile above sea level means excellent early season skiing. Only a short shuttle ride from Kelowna, BC, you can travel to SilverStar without a car and relax with a ski-in, ski-out experience. Forget having to ski uphill — chairlifts can bring you up in elevation, so you don’t even have to worry about those big climbs. Stunning sunset views of the vast Okanagan Valley below await.

There’s much more than skiing that awaits you. A variety of restaurants offer fresh cuisine to sample local flavors of the region, including the renowned Okanagan Valley wines. As a popular alpine ski destination, you may also want to spend a day or two on the downhill slopes. Other popular activities include snowshoeing, fat biking, ice skating, snowmobiling or even a sleigh ride. All the colorful buildings may inspire your artistic side, which you can indulge during a wine and paint course in the village.
