Let the Games begin!!

With the Summer Olympic Games kicking off in Paris today, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the different Olympic venues guests visit on Lumi trips. In all, Lumi trips go to six destinations that have hosted summer or winter Olympic events between 1928 - 1994. Revenge is a dish best served cold

“Revenge is a dish best served cold” goes the old adage. Though perhaps the word I’m searching for is not revenge, but rather payback – payback to both my parents for instilling me with a love for skiing and passion for travel. I have them both to thank. If you’d like to raise a glass with your parents or adult child(ren), we’re offering $300 off all Lumi trips through Father’s Day – this Sunday, June 16 – and still have space available on a few of Lumi’s popular 2025 Worldloppet trips.

It was easily one of the most scenic and memorable days I’ve ever had on a bike. Ever since that day, I’ve been dreaming of going back to Lago di Resia and Nauders on the Italian and Austrian border for a more leisurely ride. Last weekend, my dream came true.

Ski Travel in Italy: Last Chance to save $200

Some of our favorite Italian trail networks are so popular in the summer that they’re starting to limit the number of visitors, however they tend to be almost empty in winter. We caught up with Lumi trip leader Valentina to hear what it’s like to live near and lead trips to these world-class Italian ski areas. Plus we’re offering $200 off bookings for our ski trips to Italy before Friday, September 1!

Skiing in Seefeld!

Skiable snow by Thanksgiving is a good start to winter in my book. It’s exciting to see the World Cup season kick off in Ruka, SuperTour in SilverStar and Ski Festival in West Yellowstone. For me, the season started last weekend in Leutasch, a village in the 245 km Seefeld trail network.
